Our Story

Who We Are

Based in regional Queensland, NeuroNest Learning is led by a Senior Teacher with specialist expertise in English and Humanities, and a deep understanding of both mainstream and distance education environments in line with the Australian curriculum.

After years of working in classrooms and virtual schools, my colleagues and I saw firsthand how many learners fall through the cracks — not because they lack ability, but because the system isn’t always designed to meet individual needs. Differentiation is a huge challenge in busy classrooms, and for many neurodiverse or anxious learners, it just isn’t enough.

We created NeuroNest Learning to offer a different approach:

  • Personalised, one-on-one or small group tutoring

  • Support with distance education platforms and processes

  • A calm, nurturing learning environment where children feel safe to try, stumble, and grow​

 

We know that distance education can be incredible — once you find your rhythm. But the initial learning curve is steep, especially for students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, or working memory differences. As a parent of neurodiverse learners myself, I understand the overwhelm that can come with navigating multiple platforms, shifting due dates, and unclear task expectations.

That’s where we come in. NeuroNest exists to bridge the gap, reduce stress, and help your child build the confidence and skills they need to flourish — in school, and in life.
